ABERDEEN. & STIRLING.', with bold celtic strapwork at the breech end and bands of the same to the breech end of the barrels, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with hidden third bite, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, rolled-edge triggerguard, bold engraving of celtic knots, strapwork and serpents carved in low relief on a matted background, retaining some original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. highly-figured stock (slightly swept left side), weight 6lb. 6oz., in its leather case with gold-tooled Alexander Martin leather trade label, the case lid exterior marked 'T.T. Mc C.'
